Wanna solve SUDOKU..??

My dream of solving a NUMBER game using a self devised algorithm finally got satisfied with this one. It happened all of a sudden. One day, I got a mail in my company mail box to solve a sudoku at the earliest, to get a prize. Till that time, I heard about Sudoku, and how people are die-hard fans of it. I saw people solving them in travel, free time and while in office too...!! I did try soloving one using a pen and paper ofcourse with the aid of my BRAIN but, I could not actually succeed. That was the time it striked me.. why not I can write a program to do this for me??

I was involved in vb.net project at that time and though it would be kind of exploring VB.NET with some number crunching algorithm. My researh started and in a week time, I was with this solution in my hand..!! My own SUDOKU Solver..!!

The kind of satisfaction I have had after completing this one after been working long with Excel and Mail, was enormous.

I believe I had come up with a better algorithm to solve Sudoku combining the "Finding Predictbale Solution Space (Named by me..!!) " and the hero of all times hero the"Brute-Force" methodology.

Find below the link for the application along with the presentation I prepared to explain some of the curious folks at my work place. You would need dot net frame work in order to execute this application on your machine.



Using the application is pretty much simple. Fill in the values you have on the puzzle and click a butoon.. zoooooom.. it got solved..!!
